Hey from very sunny Scotland.
I have been awol for some time as Jack was back in hospital with unexplained pain. It seems to have come from his bladder and kidneys. Stones were queried but not proven.
The pain was fairly intense and it took a long time for them to get him to a point where he was comfortable.
It was a very scary time as he had three periods where he stopped breathing and was rushed to HDU. My stress levels were off the Richter scale!
We are home now and he is still a bit uncomfortable so I am now searching the web for some home remedies as he is ok when he is lying down but really uncomfortable sitting up.
Exhausted doesn't even cover how I feel but on the plus side I have my lovely daughter home for the summer and she is helping to keep me sane.
I hope all is well in your world my little gigglers.

This is the day he properly woke up in HDU after about a week of pain relief and sedation |

Hello, Dearest Lyndylou,
ReplyDeleteOh, you and Jack have been through a lot!!! I am a bit happy that he is home now and you could post a blog. Good Luck for the home remedy and bless your wonderful helping hand daughter☆☆☆ Thinking about both of you.
Sending you lots of love and hugs from Japan, xoxo Miyako*
It was just over a year ago that we met at The Cullen Bay Hotel on my Around Britain Trip.
ReplyDeleteI have just completed a second tour, again for Help for Heroes but only came as north as Edinburgh this time.

But I have to say that every time I read your blog it brings a tear to my eyes and makes me realise that You and your very brave Son Jack are the real Heroes for what you achieve together.
It is good to hear that your daughter is home again to help you.
I do hope that this difficult spell passes soon and wish you all well and will be thinking of you all there.
Frank
I, and others I'm sure, have missed you and been concerned about you and Jack. May God be with both of you and provide you with the strength to continue fighting your battles.
ReplyDeleteI've been wondering what you and your lovely children have been up to.
ReplyDeleteVery glad to hear Jack has once again defeated the odds and is back home with the family. Definitely sounds like something strange is up with all that pain though. Nothing like a mystery to put you all on pins and needles - you are a hell of a super sleuth, I'm sure you'll get to the bottom if it in no time.
How was Holly's first year at school? She working this summer?
Nice that she is home too, bet that feels good. I know it does for me to have my son home from school.
Take care of yourself too now :) ((big ass hug))
Hi Lindylou! That is such a gorgeous photo of you and your precious boy, filled with love. You've both certainly been through the wringer again, haven't you?! I am so happy that Holly is now home with you for the summer. That will make you feel much brighter, having her moral support, and I know that you will be getting some giggles in as well! I do pray that Jack will be more comfortable soon. It must be such a worry for you :( Please take care - I can imagine how exhausting all this must be for you. x
ReplyDeleteSo hard when you're child is in pain and you can't fix it :( Glad you're all home though, with Holly too: hope the summer is better xx
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear things have been so difficult for You and your Jack. Must have been very scary! Glad you're home now, hope things settle down soon :-)

Bless your hearts! Sending hugs to all of you~
ReplyDeleteSo presumably they haven't solved the problem? Do you still have test results to come back? Hope Jack feels more comfortable very soon, I was admiring his luscious locks in the photo xx
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to check in and say how amazed I am at all you do! You are one loving and special Momma! I know you wouldn't be or do it any other way, but honestly, Lynne...you amaze me. And that Jack, what a trooper and the way Holly loves him...priceless!
ReplyDeleteMuch love and I hope you get to Paris without a hitch and everyone has a blast!

I've been wondering where you were. I'm so sorry for you and Jack.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
You have been in my thoughts. So sorry Jack has had to endure more hospital time but it is good that he is home now.
ReplyDeleteSending hugs xx
