A poem

This is a poem that Holly wrote about her brother. She was about 12 when she wrote it.  Enjoy.

Blue Sparked Eyes

Look into my eyes
Tell me what you see
I see a fragile flame
Struggling to grow
A small light
Fighting against night

Look into my eyes
Tell me what you see
I see a glimpse into a heart
As gentle as can be
A warm embrace
Enfolding precious memories

Look into my eyes
That's all it should take to see
A happy little spark
Sheltered from the rain
Glowing through the tough times
and the happy ones too

So smile and see
How happy I am to be
An everlasting, burning little spark
in the rough tumbling seas

I thought it was lovely so I printed it out on fancy paper, laminated it and gave a copy to his teacher and auxiliaries who worked with him, on his last day of primary school. A copy is stuck on the wardrobe in his bedroom along with many photos of him from when he was little to now.

Have a great day my little gigglers.
